4 ALL NEW Cooking Contests
Prizes for each contest:
1st place winner $50
2nd Place Winner $25
3rd Place Winner $10.
APPLE CRISP CONTEST Wednesday August 10th at 1:00 PM in the Exhibition Hall (please note, an error was made in the printed schedule, this is an apple crisp contest,
not an apple pie contest)
RULES:
-Apple Crisp must be made from scratch.
-The only fruit to be used are apples of any kind.
-Entries must be accompanied with a recipe. Recipes will be judged on appearance, readability, and clarity.
-Entries must be to hall by noon on Wednesday.
CHILI CONTEST
Friday August 12th at 1pm in the Exhibition Hall
RULES:
-Chili must be "Home Made".
-Must be accompanied with a recipe. Recipe will be judged based on appearance, readability, and clarity.
-Other than that....anything goes!
Entries must be to the hall by noon on Friday.
BAKED BEAN CONTEST Saturday August 13th at 1pm in the Exhibition hall
Rules:
-Must be "Home Made."
-Must be accompanied by a recipe. Recipe will be judged based on readability, appearance. and clarity.

CAKE DECORATING CONTEST
Sunday August 14th at 1pm in the Exhibition Hall
Rules:
-Must have 3 layers of different sizes.
-Cake can be any flavor. Cake itself will not be judged, only decorations.
-Must have at least three colors including white.
-Recipe for frosting must accompany cake.
-Decorations should depict this year's Topsham Fair Exhibition Hall theme "Changing Times."
-Cake will not be cut.
Entries need to be registered to the hall by noon on Sunday.
